We usually talk about Geo-Targeting in conjunction with a physical presence, such as a store or event. Another great use of Geo-Targeting is weather-related.
We just launched a campaign for Husky Liners where we built two sets of ads. For regions with winter snowfall, we ran the “Snow Ads”. For the other regions we ran a “Rain Ad.”
We designed both a 728x90 and 300x250 for each weather region (for a total of 4 ads). The ads are running on Jeep, Truck and Outdoor Powersports sites.
